I had meatballs and spaghetti - leftovers from last night. To spice it up a bit I bought some little debbie brownies from the snack bar. Thinking of going back for seconds.. at 280 calories a pop though I’m wondering if instead I will get popcorn... or not.

I had chicken stir fry with some dumplings (gyoza) from the cafeteria here at work. It was surprisingly good. Expensive, but good.

Our cafeteria has also been quite good lately. Surprising. Love dumplings.

I had leftover shells and sauce. To spice it up I brought 4 apples.

I really like the nutty version of those brownies.
I’m having the world’s most shonkily made subway sandwich. I cant believe employees who are watched over directly by their customer could make such a half arsed sandwich

I had a ham, turkey, and provolone on rye, and some chips. Thrilling.

I was charged extra for cheese on my Turkey Bacon ranch melt even though the menu clearly says it includes cheese.

Eh, the rye sound provocative.

It’s been said. Cumberland sausage goes back 500 years and is cooked in a ring (but not called a ‘Cumberland Sausage ring’ but Cumberland Sausage) to make it easier to cook. Rather that cut it in size of into links, you cook it as one whole piece and simply turn over the whole sausage, when it’s cooked you cut it into portions and serve.
There is no other sausage like it in my books. Finely cut (not minced) pork, black and white pepper, sage, rosemary, thyme, nutmeg, pinch of cayenne pepper and salt (though there is no strict recipe as it changed over many years with what herbs and spices were available at the time but generally a peppery sausage.

Two grilled chicken breasts, two cups of pasta salad and a green pepper. Nothing sensational. Those brownies look tasty, I haven’t had any Little Debbie stuff in a while.

I think those brownies are mislabeled. I have some friends that would be seriously disappointed after eating those.

It was ok rye. If it had been marble rye or something, then I’d be excited.
